I'm not sure what I can say about this - at least Howard Stern isn't exactly unbiased

socialist christmas carol

found this on facebook
"
Twas the night after elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet*
They wanted my pay*
To give to the others*
Who had not worked a day!*

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
welcome to socialism,
because idiots vote

the markets on tuesday

The U.S. was up on Monday followed by Asia up on Tuesday and Europe trending up on Tuesday. I suspect that volatility will remain high, but I am predicting that the U.S. will finish in the red on Tuesday, but probably not down enough to wipe out yesterdays gains of about 400 on the DOW. I will post again after 4pm E.T. in order to comment on my prediction skills.

*Note - this is just for fun, no on can predict the stock market with this kind of volatility. There are just too many factors at play. We are living in a time when American Express profits declining 23% is perceived as a positive sign for the economy simply because it was expected to do worse. To me, there is something fundamentally wrong with this.

see http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=a_2wVfc6_TGU for more information on American Express.

Mila Kunis on World of Warcraft

This is Mila Kunis from 'That 70's Show' promoting the new Max Payne movie that she is in. Seeing clips like this always makes me wonder why more girls (ahem, women) are not like this. Maybe there are and I am just looking in the wrong places.

  • She likes to drink beer at sports games and curse at the teams playing. check and check
  • She likes yankee stadium. check
  • She plays video games (and knows what's going on). check
  • (guys, it doesn't get much better than this)

I actually do not play World of Warcraft (although I know plenty of people that do) for fear of getting addicted and ultimately spending too much time playing, and not enough time being productive and moving my life forward. But after seeing this, I may have to rethink my game plan.
